Dear Prayer and Mission Friends,
One of the most important facts of life is that we shall die and return to dust.
I know this sounds quite negative, but the good news is that our spirits will continue to live forever and it will be in one of two places. Either our spirit will go to God’s place where He sits on a throne and rule and we shall have eternal peace and comfort and joy. OR our spirit will go to the Satan’s place where we shall suffer, be in pain, no peace and agony forever.
To make a study of heaven and hell, I am giving you the following scriptures: Joh 11:25§ Matt 5:22,29§ Matt 7:13§ Mark 9:43§ Luk 12:5§ Gal 1:8§ Phi3:19§ 2 Pet 2:4§ Ps 16§ Jona 2§ Ps 18§ Mat10§ Luke 12.
We can do Bible study on this truth and we can ask question to Pastors and Ministers to help us understand this important truth. Just imagine you are sure where your spirit will go once you die one day and when God asks you what did you do to prevent other people of going to Hell? What will be your answer?
It can be your husband or wife or children or other family or friends or a group of unknown people far away from any church or people that do not know the truth. Just imagine that they cannot read or don’t have a Bible or nobody visits them to tell them this important truth of life after death.
What will be your answer? …………………………………..
That is why I am so thankful that I can send this newsletter out. Thank you for your part in praying and supporting my mission to reach the least reached communities. Rom 10 especially verses 13-15 emphasise that people would not know about eternal life if they don’t hear about it. With your help and support we play such a vital role in the lives of people that do not know Jesus Christ as the Saviour and Redeemer.
An Evangelist friend, Danie van Dyk from Cape Town, and I are currently on our way to Angola to visit the area of Lubango until mid September 2014. This mission entails long travelling hours and at some places the roads are not good. We shall work with a local teacher, whom would serve as a Portuguese translator and guide to the small communities. Spiritually it is very difficult to have a break through and therefore this request for prayer covering during this outreach, please.
- Please pray for save travelling, easy border crossings and permission from the local Chiefs to Evangelize in their territory.
- Please pray for understanding of the Gospel and open hearts of the local people, to accept Jesus as their personal saviour.
- Please pray that the language will not be a barrier, nor the local traditions and customs.
- Please pray for Danie and his wife Delene and myself for good health and protection against any attacks, so that we can fulfill the task. (Matt 28:18-20.)
Yours faithfully in Christ,
Deon Snyders
